Hunting in the Nunavik Region

hunting-pg-picDiana Lake Lodge and its remote outpost camps offer exceptional hunting opportunities for a variety of unique and exotic game.

For bird hunters, the quality and abundance of the rock and willow ptarmigan will astound, with coveys just feet from camp. Pack your pointing dog or use our resident Brittanies. The season runs from August through late October.

The barren-ground caribou are healthy and plentiful with the “Leaf River” and “George River” herds numbering over a million animals. Hunts are available from the end of August to the first part of October. With a two-animal limit per hunter, our hunting success is very high.

Black bear offer a hunting adventure for those seeking a challenging and exciting hunt.

High Arctic Adventures is very fortunate to receive tags for wild barren-ground musk ox, which are a rare and beautiful animal only found in the arctic.
